Mobile Nutzung

Die relativ nahe Zukunft wird mobil sein. Davon redet man ja schon seit Jahren und dennoch ist man weit davon weg, dass die User mobil browsen können.

Naaah ... seh ich nicht so. Bei mir ist dieser Monat - glaub ich - der erste Monat in meinem Leben, in dem ich mehr Online-Geschichten mobil geregelt habe, als am Tower oder Notebook zu Hause. Ich lese mittlerweile auch RSS-Feeds unterwegs und einige der letzten Einträge habe ich mit dem Handy gebloggt. Mails sowieso. Manchmal klemme ich das Notebook ans UMTS-Modem, aber das kleine Display wird irgendwie immer reizvoller. Das Tower ist mittlerweile mit einer 100% sicheren Firewall ausgestattet und hält für kreative Arbeiten hin.

Ich halte Seitenschneider für zu kompliziert, dem üblichen Nutzer empfehle ich Scissors http://www.dumbentia.com/pdflib/scissors.pdf , etwas eleganter ist Safer Surf http://www.feisar.de/content/gfx_de_safersurf.html .

Ist das mobile surfen nicht noch sehr teuer? Vielleicht bin ich nur zu schlecht informiert, aber ich dachte, das lohnt sich kaum, vorallem nicht für Dinge, die man auch mit dem PC machen kann.

Es gibt mittlerweile UMTS- und HSDPA-Flatrates.

Aber ist klar ... Websites entwickle ich immernoch am Großbildschirm ;-)
