Ja, an der Idee ist was dran. Gerade bei langen CSS-Dateien mit vielen Klassen kann diese Formatierung ein schnelleres Wiederfinden gewährleisten: Single Line CSS

Hab ich früher mal so gemacht. Da fand ich dann zwar die Selektoren schneller, aber in den Attributen war's unübersichtlich. Vor allem, wenn es mal sieben, acht oder gar zehn Attribute hatte, die kaum noch in eine Editorzeile passten, ohne umzubrechen.

Ganz unübersichtlich wurde es bei Konstrukten wie z.B.:
li.seitenleiste a, li.seitenleiste a:hover, li.seitenleiste a:focus {Blah... Attribute...}

Fand ich nix gut, deswegen mache ich's längst wieder "klassisch".

Klar, es gibt immer 2 Seiten eine Medaille.
