... bei den Canonicals auf der aktuellen Feisty Fawn-Beta-CD. Wenn man die in einen Windows-Rechner einlegt, bekommt man folgende Software-Empfehlungen: aktuelle Feisty Fawn-Beta unter Windows Der Fehler in der Versionsangabe auf der Titelleiste ("Ubuntu 6.06") weist darauf hin, dass es das schon in früheren Ubuntu-Versionen gab. Ich sehe es nur jetzt zum ersten Mal. Diese Beta erkennt aber immernoch nicht meine ATI Radeon 700X-Grafikkarte. Und die bcm43xx-WLAN-Karte wird (wie in Edgy Eft) zwar erkannt, aber das Modul nicht richtig geladen. Beides keine seltene/exotische Hardware in Notebooks. Müsste also bei einer Neu-Installation wieder auf die Alternate-CD zurückgreifen (für die Text-Mode-Installation) und die Treiber manuell einrichten. Dabei sollte Feisty Fawn doch Laptop-tauglicher werden ... Aber warten wir mal die endgültige Version ab.

also hier hat es einwandfrei geklappt mit dem booten. läuft auch sonst erste sahne. und im gegensatz zur 6.10 gabs sound auch von anfang an ;-)

das mit der cd im windows rechner werd ich aber so schnell wohl nicht nachvollziehen können, weil: mir mangelts daran (leider?) wahnsinnig ..
