Frechheit - Datendreck auf Neu-PC

Als ob das vorinstallierte Windows nicht schon genug wäre ... habe heute ein Notebook "bearbeitet", auf deren Festplatte die Hersteller 2,5 GByte (!) an Datenmüll geschaufelt haben. Demoversionen, Provider-Zugänge, Alpha-Versionen von Games zum Freischalten, Probezugänge für unbekannte und unnötige Musikeinkaufsportale und Werbedreck ohne Ende. Oh Mann ... zu Windows95-Zeiten haben wir uns noch über den überflüssigen Compuserve-Zugang aufgeregt ...

Dell oder HP?

Habe vor ca. 1 1/2 Monaten Kaufberatung in Sachen Laptop für meine Mutter spielen dürfen. 2 Wochen darauf den Rechner eingerichtet: Was will ich mit so Schwachsinnigkeiten wie Fingerprint-Login? Warum bekommt man den Dreck nicht raus aus Windoof XP?
