Offene Ports unter Windows

Ich kam letztens in den Genuß, ein Windows-System abdichten zu müssen. Da hat sich das Freeware-Tool Active Ports gut bewährt. Es zeigt alle Prozesse und Clients, die Ports öffnen oder belauschen, in Echtzeit an. Ist also ideal, wenn man am Paketfilter schraubt und die Resultate seiner Handlungen sofort mitkriegen möchte. Und bevor man am Paketfilter rumschraubt oder überhaupt mit einem neu aufgesetztem Windows XP online geht, sollte man sowieso zuerst mal ein paar Killer-Dienste abschalten.
